THE DIVISION OF POWERS

Copy and answer these questions about the Constitution of 1978. Write full sentences.
a)What happened the 6th of December 1978?
The 6th of December 1978 the Spanish people accepted the Constitution in a referendum.
b) What values are stated in the Constitution?
The Constitution's values are freedom, justice and equality.
c) How are territories organized, according to the Constitution?
The Constitution defines Spain as a territorially decentralised state. This means the Autonomous Communities can have their own laws.
d) How does the Constitution describe the Parliamentary Monarchy?
The Constitution says that the monarch represents the country as the Head of State, but the Parliament is responsible for making and approving laws.
e) What is the difference between a right and a responsibility?
A right is something a person is allowed to do. A responsibility is an obligation to do something.
