the present perfect is a verb tense used to express actions that occurred at a non-specific time. The present perfect tense is also used to express actions that started in the past but continue to the present.

It's formed with the auxiliary verb " to have" in the present and the past participle of the verb. With regular verbs, you need to add -ed to make the past participle (the 3rd form of the verb). Irregular verbs have a special form.
Structure
Affirmative sentence
I/You/We/They have... He/She/It has...+ past participle (3rd form of verb)
She has gone to work.
Negative sentence
I/You/We/They haven't ...He/She/It hasn't...+ past participle (3rd form of verb)
I haven't talked to Elena.
Interrogative sentence
Have I/ You/We/They + past participle (3rd form of verb)...? Has He/She/It + past participle (3rd form of verb)...?
