THE SPANISH CIVIL WAR
Today we are not going to study a new page from the book. Instead, we are going to look at the Spanish Civil War in detail.
1) IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
A civil war is a conflict between people of the same country. Citizens with different political or religious ideas fight against each other. It was an important historical event that marked a generation. The horrors of the war were suffered by all the population, and it influenced the future of the country for many years to come.
2) I want you to watch this video.
4) You can also do some research on the Internet if you think you should know more about the Spanish Civil War (you should).
5) Task: Make a drawing under the title "THE SPANISH CIVIL WAR 1936 - 1939". In your picture, you need to represent the best way you can the feelings and events of the war. Mix the information from the classbook, video, photographs and extra research. You can do this on your own or with the help of your family. Use your wonderful imagination, be original and creative. It is better if you add labels to the picture, sentences or short pieces of information.
6) Send me your pictures via email. You have until Monday (included).
7) Comment only if you have a question.
