Natural Science 31st March

USING DIGITAL DEVICES

Hello guys! Have you read page 30? Have you created an OUTLINE in your notebook? Good! This next activity is going to make you think, so sit properly and get ready to read the instructions!

1) We are going to combine NATURAL SCIENCE and SOCIAL SCIENCE in this activity.

2) In other words, this activity is going to be about USING THE COMPUTER and CONTEMPORARY HISTORY.

3) Get your Social Science book and notebook.

4) Get a computer or tablet.

5) You are going to create a PRESENTATION about the 20th Century in Spain. What is a presentation? It's a SUMMARY that includes outlines, sections, photographs or even videos.

6) How? You are going to use a DIGITAL TOOL. I'm going to give you a list of programs that can help you create presentations. The list is ordered from the easiest to the most difficult. Investigate a little bit and choose the one you want to use.
  1. Word (offline, too easy)
  2. Powerpoint (offline, adequate level)
  3. Canva (online, needs register, pro)
  4. Prezi (online, needs register, super pro)
7) What? You need to include the information on pages 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 (Social Science). You already have summaries in the notebook, so USE them!!!! Things to include:
  1. Titles (use colours, different sizes... be original!)
  2. Summaries (the ones from your notebook should be good enough!)
  3. Pictures (you can take them from the Internet)
  4. Optional: videos, timelines, outlines... anything extra is always welcome!!!

8) Send me your PRESENTATIONS. You have until Thursday at 23.59 pm. Go!

Comment only if you have a question.

    1. Yesssssss BUT: DO NOT COPY EVERYTHING. You need to SELECT IMPORTANT INFORMATION (which you have already done in your notebook).
